International Pen Friends

Thank you for visiting our website. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will be happy to help you.

In order to receive a reply from us, please communicate in English as it is the only language we can communicate in. If you don't have good English language skills then please try using Google Translate to help you translate from your language to English (you can copy and paste the Google Translate result into an email and send that to us).

If you would like to write to us and require a reply by snail mail, please attach a stamped self addressed envelope if you live in Australia, or one International Reply Coupon (IRC - obtainable at most major post offices) if you live in another country.

Sometimes we are unable to reply to emails as the email address we are provided with rejects our reply. This often happens with emails we receive from teachers. We welcome all school classes and very much like to hear from teachers so please ensure that our email is put into your Safe Senders/VIP/Contact List so it won't be rejected by your email program.

Please regularly check your spam and junk mail folders if you are waiting for your pen friend list or a reply from us as our emails may end up there and be automatically deleted by your email program after a few days. We do not send spam emails.

If you are waiting for your pen friend list to arrive, please ensure that your email account has enough storage space available to accept attachments and your email filter settings allow attachments.

International Pen Friends (IPF) is a registered business: ABN 80 070 592 343
20 View Street, Paynesville VIC 3880, Australia

Please Note:

International Pen Friends (IPF) is a registered trademark. Our logos, slogans, drawings and photos are protected under copyright law.

We have a well-documented, meaningful and genuine history. We have a number of representatives worldwide, and many of our representatives have web pages and also promote IPF's services locally in their country.

There are also some organisations that have taken extraordinary steps in establishing services that appear to be very similar to our service and name, including an organisation that claims the right to being the 'original' provider of a pen friend service. We strongly dispute that claim and have relevant legal evidence to prove it is false. We are definitely not part of or associated in any way with that organisation in Chelan, Washington State, USA.

In 1996/1997 a name very similar to our name was trademarked in USA. The organisation responsible continues to falsely align the now long-dead trademark with respected pen friend services and brand names that have operated over the history of time.

Please contact us if you would like to confirm if a particular website or person represents our organisation.
